FastAPI Fundamentals Guide
This guide teaches you FastAPI from installation all the way to building a complete CRUD API. You create the project with uv, start the server with `fastapi dev`, and move forward module by module: path operations, parameters with `Annotated`, `Query()`, `Path()`, and `Body()`, validation with Pydantic v2, professional error handling, and CORS. You finish with a To-Do List API split across several files. All the code is tested with FastAPI 0.143, Pydantic 2.14, and Python 3.13 (October 2026). It's the foundation the backend and AI Engineering guides that build services with FastAPI assume.
